How long does it take for the SERU results to arrive?

Once you have completed your SERU assessment at TfL Test Centre, you will wait at least 14 working days to receive your results.
Bear in mind that 14 working days is almost three weeks.
Often due to the large number of applicants this time may be longer - most drivers receive their results in around 5 weeks.

Where do I find the results?

This depends on your preferred method of contact however results are normally sent by post or email.

I haven't received my SERU results, what to do next?

If it's been over 3 weeks since your assessment and you still haven't received the results it's best to contact the TfL Assessments team via email at:

You can also contact TfL by phone on 03432224444 however waiting times may be very long and also you will not have any record of contact using this method.

Free email template can be found below:

Remember! You must include your DAPP application reference number or if already licensed - your licence number in the subject line.

Dear Sir/Madam,

I completed my SERU Assessment on [EXAM DATE HERE] and it has now been more than 14 working days and I have not received my results.

I would be very grateful for sending my results via email.
If I do not hear back from you within 7 days, I will get in touch again.

Best Regards

What if I failed my SERU Assessment?

Around 33% of applicants fail their SERU Assessment but good news is that TfL does not currently take any licensing action against drivers who failed.
Instead drivers are offered additional attempts to pass.
Each additional attempt costs £16.
New applicants have currently three attempts before their application will be refused.

We do encourage drivers and applicants to prepare for the assessment using our online course with mock tests.
